About Dr. Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg is a urologist certified by the American Board of Urology. He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and completed a Residency in Urology at the Harvard Program in Urology, Boston, MA. Dr. Steinberg completed his undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. In 2012, he earned a Masters in Health Care Management at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Steinberg is the Founder of the Boston Urological Society, Past-President of the Massachusetts Association of Practicing Urologists, and he is a member of the American Urologic Association, American Society for Men’s Health, and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.

Dr. Steinberg has been practicing urology for more than 30 years with a focus on providing the highest level of compassionate, personalized care to his patients. His expertise in Men’s Sexual Health conditions, and his highly personalized, caring, and comprehensive approach to patient care distinguish him as a widely known and respected urologist in the Boston area.

Dr. Steinberg is the recipient of the Castle Connolly Top Doctor award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.  Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg is one of the few physician urologists in Massachusetts to specialize in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy for Low Testosterone and Low Libido in men.
